Rahul Nayar was born and bred in Perth, Australia, graduating from the University of Western Australia in Electrical Engineering + Management, and worked as an electrical engineer before attending the UCLA Anderson School of Management to obtain his MBA. After UCLA, Rahul worked in product marketing at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, before returning to Perth as an engineer with Aurecon.
