  1. Jordans are released on Fridays so that kids can line up for the shoes after school ends before the weekend - FICTION, Jordans are released on Saturdays, so that kids don’t skip school to get them.

  2. Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars are the all-time best selling sneakers, with total sales nearing 600 million pairs - FACT, Chuck Taylor All-Stars were first marketed in 1917, meaning they have been sold for over a century.

  3. In 2011, Nike created and auctioned 1500 replicas of the famous self-lacing “Back to the Future” shoes, which raised $1M for the Michale J. Fox Foundation - FICTION, the 1500 replica shoes raised $5.7M, averaging $3,800 per shoe; as of 2020, the shoes could fetch anywhere between $7,500 to $10,000 on the resell market
